A CSR report release ceremony for centrally administered state-owned enterprises, sponsored by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and organized by the China Social Responsibility 100 Forum and the State Development & Investment Corp., Ltd., was held in Beijing on October 13. More than 300 representatives from 97 centrally administered enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, and mainstream media organizations attended the event. Song Xin, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), was invited to the event and delivered a keynote speech. 

At the event, CECEP released its 2019 CSR report, which showcases the company’s latest progress and achievements in the management and fulfillment of corporate social responsibilities. This was the ninth consecutive CSR report published by CECEP. The company has won “five-star” rating for its CSR report from the China CSR Report Rating Experts Committee for five straight years. Moreover, CECEP’s CRS fulfillment case was included into the “Blue Book on CRS of Central Enterprises (2020),” the bluebook “Research Report on Overseas Social Responsibility of Central Enterprises (2020)” and “Collection of Central Enterprises’ Best Practice Cases of Combating COVID-19.”
