The groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation project of the People’s Palace of Comoros was held at the People’s Palace in Moroni, capital of Comoros, on December 28, 2019. The project is conducted under the aid of China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “China Qiyuan”), a subsidiary company of CECEP.

The project involves the renovation and equipment replacement of the inside and outside facades, lobby, office area, meeting hall, auditorium, and outdoors engineering facilities of the People’s Palace as well as the construction of a diesel generator room, a rainwater collection pond, and a firefighting pond. The renovated floor areas total 4,460 square meters, including 4,396 square meters in the main structure of the People’s Palace. The project will last 15 months.

China Qiyuan will give full play to its rich experience in the design and management of 46 overseas aid projects that have been completed in 27 countries, and intimately collaborate with all parties to guarantee the quality, proceeding and safety of the project and make it a high-quality project strengthening friendship between China and Comoros.
