On August 7, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) awarded the Ras Al-Khair Industrial City Road Connection Upgrade Project (08C-C08) to China Geo-engineering Corporation (CGC), with a contract value of approximately USD 23.1 million.

Located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City in Jubail, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the project focuses on the comprehensive upgrade of the existing road TS7 connecting Jubail Industrial City and Ras Al-Khair Industrial City. Upon completion, it will link Road 218 in Jubail Industrial City, the expressway in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City, and Saudi Aramco’s rig assembly plant, providing robust transportation support and enhanced connectivity for the Ras Al-Khair Special Economic Zone. The project will optimize the regional road network, improve logistics efficiency, facilitate resource sharing and collaborative development among industrial nodes, and inject strong momentum into the economic zone’s industrial growth and regional economic influence.
